Topsites Internet is engaged in the business of managing data for its clients. We realise that this is a position of responsibility, and we take the issue of client confidentiality very seriously.
Our Confidentiality Commitment sets out our position with regards to the information that we use on behalf of our clients. We comply with the strict requirements under the Data Protection Act, copyright and patent laws and as detailed below.
We understand that our business reputation relies on the fact that we are highly regarded as a trustworthy organisation and we will only use client information in accordance with the strict guidelines agreed with the client.

- Topsites Internet agrees to hold all confidential data collected or proprietary information or trade secrets ("Information") in trust and in confidence and agrees that the information shall be used solely for the agreed purposes, and not for any other purpose.
- Topsites Internet shall not sell, rent or otherwise disclose the information to any third party, unless the disclosure is firstly approved by the Client, and the party in question is also bound by the terms of this agreement.
- Topsites Internet accepts that all information supplied by the Client or collected on behalf of the Client for the purposes above shall remain the property of the Client at all times.
- Copies of the database and information shall be retained for backup purposes only and will be returned to the Client on request.
- Upon the completion of the work, or upon demand by the Client, all information or data belonging to the Client shall be promptly returned to the Client.
